International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

The USA Department of State is responsible for the control of the permanent and temporary export and temporary import of defense articles and services which is primarily governed by the Arms Export Control Act and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

MMCLD is constantly working with information and equipment that falls under ITAR control and has been approved by the State Department on a case-by-case basis on a number of occasions for safe and responsible handling.

MMCLD also has lawyer-based support in Lansing, Michigan, which provides expertise in the area of ITAR. MMCLD is therefore totally up to date with all legislative requirements.
